On 1st October, 3 teachers of Bridge International School got the opportunity to attend the Cambridge East India Community Meet 2026, held at the premises of Calcutta International School.
The event kicked off with a round of informal networking amongst the educators from across Eastern India, Nepal and Bhutan over tea and coffee. Over the course of the day, a number of presentations and panel discussions unfolded around several interesting topics such as “The School of Tomorrow”, “Challenges in STEM Careers”, “How Do We Prepare Our Learners for the Future” etc. The group of Cambridge trainers and facilitators guided the teachers on several aspects of the curriculum and pedagogy, such as PLS Check Points, Cambridge Learning Solutions, Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications, New Cambridge Initiatives, Cambridge Go and Cambridge School Support Hub etc. From the main session, the discussions branched out into separate breakout rooms, with specific focus on Maths & Science, English, Curriculum Pathways and Subject Choices Leading to University Pathways.
The event concluded on a high with a heartwarming session of reflections and feedback. The meet was specifically helpful to the teachers at Bridge International School as it helped them get to know more about the professional qualifications every teacher should ideally explore in order to serve their students better, and also about the host of learning and support resources available to every teacher and every school under the Cambridge curriculum. All the educators in attendance were happy to take back the invaluable learnings of the day back to their schools, fellow teachers and students.
